Lou Anne King Jensen
Lou Anne King Jensen is the Founder and President of the Chrest Foundation. She has worked or volunteered in a variety of capacities in the social services sector for over 39 years, although work on womens issues has always been a priority for her. In addition to her duties as President of the Chrest Foundation, Ms. Jensen currently serves in the capacity of board member or council member to several philanthropic entities and civil society organizations, including those having an interest in the distribution of college scholarships to underprivileged children, the global economy and development, and increasing charitable giving in Turkey.
Ms. Jensen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master of Science degree in Social Work, both from the University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas USA. She completed postgraduate study in Peace Research, conducted by the Peace Research Institute of Oslo, University of Oslo, Oslo, Norway.
Jeffrey J. Jensen
Jeffrey J. Jensen is the Vice-President and a Director of the Chrest Foundation. Mr. Jensen is also the President and Owner of Specialized Association Services, which provides a full complement of marketing and administrative services to regional and national trade associations. Mr. Jensen holds equity interests and board positions in a number of private companies.
Mr. Jensen holds a Bachelor of Special Studies degree with majors in Economics and Business as well as Philosophy from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa USA and also holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas USA.
Haley Jensen Barb
Haley Jensen Barb is the Secretary and a Director of the Chrest Foundation. Ms. Jensen is also the Vice President of Netiquette Enterprise Technology, Inc. (Net Inc), a technology services company based in Irving, Texas, as well as a Director of Penguin Automotive Group, LLC, an investment firm that holds assets in automotive ventures and real estate.
Ms. Barb received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
Chani Jensen is the Treasurer and a Director of the Chrest Foundation. Ms. Jensen also provides strategic guidance for the Foundation’s program areas and interrelates with a number of the institution’s grantees. She was previously a Foreign Language Instructor at a private school in Shanghai, China and is proficient in Mandarin.
Ms. Jensen received a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude with Honors in History and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology, both from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana USA. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation with Distinction, from the Department of Religions and Philosophies at The School of African and Oriental Studies (SOAS), University of London, in the United Kingdom.
William Jensen is a Director of the Chrest Foundation. Mr. Jensen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder and has experience in areas including operations, information management, and marketing. In addition to his business activities, he is an advocate for the importance of public green spaces and outdoor recreation.
